Conway CLAWS values the privacy of our students, families, staff, and community members and is committed to protecting personal information collected through this website.

Information We Collect

We may collect information that you choose to provide, such as parent/guardian name, email address, phone number, student first name and last initial, grade/teacher, and volunteer or donation details. Our website platform and service providers may also collect basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited for security and analytics purposes.

How We Use Information

We use this information to communicate about Conway CLAWS and school events, manage volunteers, process donations or purchases when offered, maintain contact lists, and improve our programs and website. We do not use this information for unrelated marketing and do not sell personal information.

Student Names & Photos

When sharing student information online, Conway CLAWS strives to limit identification and to use identifiable photos or videos only with appropriate permission from a parent or guardian. Families may request that a student’s name or image be removed from the site at any time using the contact information below.

Sharing of Information

Personal information is shared only with those who need it to support Conway CLAWS activities, such as PTO/CLAWS volunteers, school staff, and trusted service providers who help host or operate this site and related tools (for example, Google Workspace or email services). These providers are not permitted to use personal information for their own marketing purposes.

Analytics

Google Analytics (GA4). We use Google Analytics 4 (“Google Analytics”) to understand how visitors use our website (for example, pages visited, time on site, referring/exit pages, and interactions). Google Analytics may collect information such as your device and browser details (including device model/brand, operating system and browser versions, screen resolution, and similar technical identifiers) and approximate location information including city-level location. This information is used to generate aggregated reports that help us improve the website.

Google Signals. We have enabled Google Signals in Google Analytics. This allows Google Analytics to associate visit information with Google accounts of users who are signed in and have Ads Personalization enabled, and may provide us with aggregated reporting such as cross-device insights and demographic and interest reporting. Google Signals may also enable remarketing/audience features if we use them in connection with Google advertising products.

Your Choices and Rights

You may request to review, correct, or delete personal information that Conway CLAWS maintains about you or your student, subject to applicable school and legal requirements. To make a request or ask questions about this privacy statement, please contact us at privacy@conwaypto.org

Your choices / opt-out. You can opt out of Google Analytics data collection by installing Google’s Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. You can also manage Google’s Ads Personalization settings through your Google account settings.

Changes to This Statement

We may update this privacy statement from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable laws. The “last updated” date will be adjusted when changes are made, and continued use of the site after changes indicates acceptance of the revised statement.

Student Data

Conway CLAWS works in partnership with and follows Conway High School/Conway School District rules, relevant student privacy laws (like FERPA/COPPA), and avoids storing unnecessary student data on Conway CLAWS systems.​

Online Payments / Secure Processors

All online payments go through reputable, secure processors and Conway CLAWS itself does not store credit card numbers.​
